I gotta tell ya, when I first saw this razor being advertised as having “17 days of shaving on one charge” I was a bit skeptical. Where did they come up with this? When the razor arrived, Norelco’s OWN description states “up to 55 min. of shave time on ONE charge”. BIG difference, and, actually, FALSE advertising. I don’t know about you, but, for me, it takes me about 10 min. to get a GOOD electric shave … so, at most, this equals about 5 DAYS of shaves. As that was all I was hoping for (a week’s worth of work-day shaves on the way to work) it isn’t that big of a deal. But, come on, CHANGE the hype to reality … make the description say “up to 5 days of shaves on ONE charge”.

The shaver has a weak motor and my father has to run it over the same area 2 or 3 times to get a close shave. It is stylish but what’s the point if it doesn’t work that well!

My problem with shaving is razor bumps.I have tried everything that is available and most anti-shave lotions without luck. I finally found a solution to razor bumps. I alternate using this electric shaver with magic after shave powder, i.e two days of electric shave, a shaving holiday or two, then use magic shaving powder.I use Magic aloe aftershaving lotion immediately after each shave. I strictly observe shaving holidays. That is a day or two when I do not shave, usually my days off from work. I also resist the temptation to feel how smooth my chin is after shaving.I have tried this method for a year plus. Razor bumps are a thing of the past for me. Shaving is an art that is indivualised and you will have to find a combination that works best for you.Don’t quit trying and good luck!!!

With my Norelco Rechargeable Shaver I was able to keep my goat tee trimmed for over 3 weeks on a trip on a single charge. At the end of the trip I still had an 80 percent charge. If I had needed a charge I could have used the 220 volt service that was available where I went.

I’ve had this shaver for about a month and am very pleased with it. I bought it to replace a Braun which had never proven satisfactory. The things I like most about the Norelco include that it shaves really close (almost blade-like), it’s very quiet, it’s fast, it’s light and it is large so it covers a lot of face as it shaves. Easy cleanup too. I’m still on the first charge.
