Is this built like a piece of junk? Yes, it is. This is one of the most cheaply-built products I’ve ever seen. Many times when I flip the switch, it does not turn on, and I need to try multiple times or shake it up and down to get it going. THAT SAID, when the thing finally turns on, it cuts nose hair better than any other tool I’ve tried (from any manufacturer). I find that those “round” nose hair trimmers work really badly. This Remington just cuts and cuts. It is *worlds* better than any other trimmer I’ve tried. I wish it wasn’t built so cheaply, because the design is solid. P.S: I’ve had mine for several years. It’s still junk, and it still works.

This product didn’t work from day one. We sent it back at OUR expense and they returned it saying it worked fine. We tried it again and it still didn’t work. We finally threw it away. And we will never do business again with that company.
