This is my second Braun razor. Initial attraction on both counts was the battery meter. I shave in the car on the way, or when I get there. This razor stays in the car not in a charging stand, until I get down to _ minutes of shave time left. Braun also has a car power charging cord.
I started a new habit, bringing it up to be cleaned in its stand with that lemon solution, perhaps my facial skin will benefit, maybe even keep the razor sharp longer? I bought this for the razor, the cleaning stand is immaterial.
What is the deal with being as close as a blade anyway? Will you be able to shave once a day instead of twice?
Do you really need your face as smooth as a babys bottom?
Are you trying to look like you did before facial hair?
Perhaps these folks will find a way to Mach 3 in the car!
If your beard really can not be cut by a machine, your not even shopping for one and you will never see this review.

I have the previous model 7570 which gives a great shave but the foil wears out about every 9 months so except to replace them at $25 each. Also, had to replace the cleaning system that broke after about a year as noted by another reviewer.

If you have 10-15 minutes to shave in the morning… Buy this razor… Then after a couple of weeks the razor begins to vibrate and becomes “VERY” noisey… You will have no problem waking up… The owners manuel should recommend earplugs… Braun makes great coffee makers… They should stick to that… Don’t waste your money…

This is one of the finest of the Shavers that I have come accross. I have been hunting for a shaver that will have a display for informations. It does gives you the info. you want, and comes with this trendy charger set.
